This collection started with a piece of wood, a bottle of black ink a Cutting knife and some tape. It is the result of years of experimenting with these materials. In the beginning the work was primarily black and white shades, as the collection developed bursts of color made there way in. The work sometimes begins on the computer, where geometric patterns are generated which are transfered onto wood.

The wood has the strength and stability to show the history of each layer of the process.
